The goal of every session is to alleviate your chief complaint, establish a smooth flow of Ki along the meridians and keep you in good health. The focus of the treatment will change according to your specific needs.

The regular strain of day-to-day life has an impact on your physical and mental health, and impedes the smooth flow of Ki throughout the body. Ideally, Shiatsu and Thai Massage are used to stay on top of these common complaints (tight neck and shoulder, sore lower back, poor night sleep, anxiety) before they become more serious (frozen shoulder, sciatica, insomnia, panic attacks).

If generally you feel well and want to maintain your good health, having a session once a month will allow you to stay on top of any problems that might emerge between appointments and keep you healthy.

If there is a specific problem to work on, then you may need weekly treatments until your symptoms subsides. This allows us to build on the changes made from the previous session. The more chronic the condition, the longer it will take to resolve itself. The goal is to slowly decrease the regularity of treatments and shift to a maintenance program.
